SHARON GILL DANCE ACADEMY was a long time in the making! After 32 years of hiring community Centres, church halls and other dance venues, we FINALLY found somewhere to call home! What was the Academy before it was a dance studio?? Some might remember it as Campbells bar or even the 19th hole! Yes thats right, we converted a former pub into a dance studio! No mean feat! But with so much help and assistance from friends, family and dads of of our students who were willing to put the hard graft in to get the renovations done and we opened our doors in March 2022.
Since opening, the Academy classes have expanded and has been host to many events and outside lets including Annie Moon Clairvoyant, Birthday Parties and we even have had Dog Training and craft fairs. We have also hosted afternoon teas for charity, water colour classes and Torry Community Council meetings.
Our adult classes are proving to be popular. We offer:
stretch ‘n Tone’ (gentle exercise class)
Tap
Rewind workout (for those later in life who are looking to stay fit and healthy both in mind and body……it’s a fantastic class and we have a great time!)
If you would like to see any other adult classes added to our timetable, just let us know!
If there are any events you wish to hold at the Academy or would like to see happening this year, simply let us know and we will see what we can do.
The Academy is for EVERYONE to use for all events.

Or why not hire us to run a cheerleading or dance party for your child's birthday celebration!? Very reasonable rates apply and you get the use of 2 members of staff to run your dance party as well as the use of a 2nd studio for all your food/nibbles and refreshements. We supply all the tables, chairs, balloons and party poppers and also tea/coffee for parents/helpers of the birthday girl/boy! Message us for details.
